CoD Black Ops

I personally dont care if it looks the same as any of the cod games since....well i haven't played any so it would be a new experience for me.

Thats a true statement bro, the only COD game I have played is WAW at first I was discouraged, but once I figured everything out and got used to the controls I have to say I will put this game up against any other, SOF 1 and 2 included.

OK now that I got over my Steam rant, Black OP's is ok so far... seeing that I can only seem to get 4th place in FFA (DM) considering it was my first time playing. I did manage to get 2nd a few times in TDM and DEM. I haven't noticed any lagg as of yet either, so time will tell on this game, I'll post again later.

Best servers are Dutch and USA, German servers lag like crazy and UK servers crash all the time.
Which is pretty confusing considering all servers are hosted from gameservers.com

MW2 is a FAR superior game.

Then black ops has to be one of the worst games ever released.

Matt I did not buy Black Ops, It was an XMas gift, My point about WAW is this, I am like obsessed with WAW as Much or even more as I was with SOF 1 and 2. The gameplay is FUCKING AWESOME, one thing I wish about it was that it had the same Lean function as SOF2, you can lean left or right in waw but the way it functions is two buttons only, in SOF2 I used the right mouse button to lean and the left and right arrow for lean left or lean right and i could also implement crouch, right mouse, left or right etc. etc. To be honest Matt I think COD WAW would be right up your alley, you would fucking thrive in that game. Try it out for yourself bro, I would love you to check it out. Just bear in mind there is a slight learning curve for multiplayer but you being the gamer you are and anyone else in REK for that matter would be running maps and servers just as you do in SOF2 in no time at all. I have tons of screenies to provide any evidence anyone needs as proof.

Do you mostly play deathmatch draks? I don't know much about COD WAW but in COD 4, deathmatch is a bit too easy. Which kills most of the fun. I guess all the skilled ones play Search and Destroy there.

the difficulty is different in black ops.

DM is way harder in WAW then you may think, There is numerous campers, I even play on my fave server and it's a camping allowed server, but once you learn the game like any other game campers are not that threatening, after you get a map into your memory you can do the rest.

Drak you may be right, im sure i could say the same about BC2, i played the single player and i enjoyed it. However, the christmas gift i got (MW2) is a game which i personally rate as the best game i have played in years so i have no need or want to add to what i play because i like to find something i like to and stick with it, pretty much the way i am with everything. Yeah, boring i know.

MW2 is a challenge for me, seeing Jake completely dominate with ease on any map he chooses is a spot i want to get to, im just not used to not being one of the contenders for top spot when it comes to fps games, granted thats only based on sof2 though I do think im improving but i think Jake is best qualified to say how im doing seeing as he is the grand daddy in that game.

Matt, I absolutely agree with you, the point of sticking to what is good, thats exactly where I am with WAW I am very happy with it and very comfortable. That could explain why even though I own Black Ops and have played it for maybe a few hours, I truly have no desire to play it. I do think about playing it everytime I fire up my rig to do some fragging, but I always end up running WAW. So I definately relate to what your saying there, so I will leave it like this, anyone wanting to try a real great FPS DM game go 4 WAW. I also want to point out to Morph about his comment on WAW DM being for the weaker players. There are some really skilled players as you stated in the INF DEM or whatever you called them(LOL). I have even played a few of those myself, but those are filled with even more campers than you can imagine, and I often see players in those servers who often frequent the DM servers. They call it Free For All in WAW.

its all very well when noone can see you when you camp. But how far do you get when your whole surrounding is compromised by mortar strike, missile or a nade.

How long do you think you could stay in one place when you know your very footing could buckle beneath you at any moment.

Im sure Ray Mears would find a way Lean.
