This will be our topic of left 4 dead 2, we will discuss about custom maps we will play and other things

REK now have new official left4dead 2 server
ip is : 85.236.101.63:27815 - u can add it in ur xfire (those who own l4d2)
Server provider is Multiplay.co.uk - server is located in London (like our sof2 server)
They have good servers. I play a lot on their bad company 2 servers and they are great -good low ping, no lag

There is still a lot of work that needs to be done before server will have everything set up. Im new to server configuration so i will have to read a lot of forums and guides how to perfectlly set up l4d2 server. I hope that its not so hard thing to do Very Happy

Added to the Xfire REK servers. Now bring that traffic from l4d to our REK sof server too...

Btw for those that don't know, our sof2 server is now streaming to PBBans.

hope server runs smooth like it did before that change (i heard that this might cause server to lag)

Anyway im making some progress with l4d2 server cheers

. Now i figure out how to make myself an admin - i will do it for all of u just need your steam id
i add source bans too oh and source mod

EDIT : now i know how to connect to our server through lobby

So go purchase it from steam today.

Nice work on the L4D2 server Denis, I honestly expected it to be laggy as hell for me considering I'm in the US but for the most part it played rather well, not to mention I was playing with my REK brothers and Sisters again, was a great time. Now all we have to work on is making Sylvie to stop shooting us! What a Face

Just read this, it's the first I've heard of the PB bans stream on sof2.

Someone should make a post in the announcements thread about that. I would, but I had nothing to do with it.

And yes sylvia - you do suck lol. But we will help you. You guys like to run off too much. Gotta stick together and watch each others backs...its a co-op game. cant do it all on your own lol. Thats why you got caught out so much. And its made worse when a horde comes....gotta pick good spots to fight off the horde and at the same time protect your commrades

I have uploaded few custom campaigns to our server. here is link to download them (i recommend u register to multiplay site for faster download speed)

Now instruction for those who dont know how to install them :
1st. Install Left4dead 2 Add-on support (steam->library->tools)
2nd. Download the maps (u will get custommaps.rar file)
3rd. Extract this file to steam/steamapps/common/left4dead2/left4dead2/addons folder
4th. Double click on every single file (.vpk) to auto add them into your game
