Homefront

This game will be released in 2 weeks. It is being developed by the team responsible for one of the most popular game mods ever, a mod for Battlefield 1942 called Desert Combat. Majority of ideas you see in Battlefield 2 were taken from that mod. Well Homefront is their game, that looks promising by the trailers. It currently has 200.000 preorders just in USA so might be online success.

Graphics are far from Bad Company 2 let alone Battlefield 3 but that just means it might work on older computers. Trailers don't look as awesome either but then again if someone made a Battlefield 2 trailer, it would look just as bad. I find the game promising.

yep this is one of the games im looking forward to play it. i think it will be good - great developres + gametype will be (if i understood correctly) something between conquest and rush (from bc2)

the review scores are not great for this game, but still it is a selling hit right now

What are they comparing it to to give it not so great scores? The fact that we have BF3 coming is probably gonna influence peoples perceptions on the game.

most of the review score is based on single player campaign, and its not great and its very short too
